Blogs are published for viewing of the public; to express personal view and opinions, whereas e-mail is a personal message to one or more individuals that only the recipient/s can read. A paper diary is generally for personal use and there is no need for electronic medium.

Blogs and e-mail are electronic documents that both use the internet to be published or send. Blogs and a paper diary both express personal views. Email and a paper diary aren’t published publicly and are kept as private material.
